Neeraj Chopra finished second in the Diamond League 2024 Final in Brussels on Sunday with a best attempt of 87.86m on the day, behind Anderson Peters of Granada’s effort of 87.87m.
Neeraj missed out on the crown by the smallest of margins as Peters pipped the Indian to the top spot in the Belgian Capital city.
Peters opened with his best throw on the first attempt and maintained the pole position throughout the event to clinch the coveted piece of silverware.
Chopra began proceeding with a strong attempt of 86.82m to come in second at the end of round one of the throws. He returned with his second attempt of 83.49m, but hit his best attempt of the evening with his third attempt.
