As the United States prepares for a new presidential term, attention has turned to the dietary habits of the incoming First Family. Melania Trump, poised to resume her role as First Lady, is known for her disciplined and health-conscious eating regimen.

In contrast, President-elect Donald Trump has a well-documented preference for fast food and indulgent meals. Recent reports suggest that Melania, alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, is encouraging the president-elect to adopt healthier eating habits.

Melania Trump’s health-conscious diet

Melania Trump‘s daily diet emphasizes simplicity and nutrition. She begins her mornings with a smoothie made from spinach, carrots, blueberries, apple juice, and fat-free yogurt, providing a nutrient-rich start to her day.

Meanwhile, she aims to consume seven pieces of fresh fruit daily, favoring apples and peaches. While she maintains a healthy diet, Melania allows herself occasional indulgences, such as dark chocolate and ice cream, always mindful of portion sizes.

When dining out in New York, she has expressed a particular fondness for the chicken parmesan at Jean-Georges, an upscale restaurant located in the Trump International Hotel.

Contrasting dietary preferences

In stark contrast, President-elect Donald Trump is known for his affinity for fast food, including McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

During his first term, he reportedly had a button in the Oval Office to summon a Diet Coke at will. His preferred meals often include steak, crab, shrimp and Cobb salad.

Recognizing the health implications of such a diet, Melania Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are reportedly collaborating to encourage healthier eating habits for the president-elect.

Sources indicate that Melania has been preparing family dinners at Trump Tower for her husband and their 18-year-old son, Barron, aiming to introduce more nutritious options into their meals.

“Think fewer Big Macs and less KFC, and more lean protein, salad and veggies for energy to improve his overall well-being,” a source told Page Six.
