The Hengqin-Macau Children’s Health Lifestyle Science Museum opened on Saturday. Located on the fourth floor of the Hengqin Culture and Art Centre, the museum spans 380 square metres, featuring a 265-square-metre exhibition hall and a 115-square-metre classroom. It aims to provide children with an immersive educational experience focused on healthy living.
The project is the outcome of a collaborative effort between the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Social Welfare Bureau of the Macau SAR.
The museum integrates Macau’s health lifestyle education curriculum, utilising multimedia technology and child-friendly displays. It features multiple animated characters and is divided into four themed zones. These zones cover a range of topics, including child growth and development, disease prevention, and mental health. Additionally, the museum offers Macau-style health lifestyle education classes taught by professional instructors from Macau, helping children establish healthy habits.

The exhibition hall will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Residents can make reservations for visits within the next seven days through the “Hengqin Livelihood” WeChat official account.
