Jammu and Kashmir’s newly-elected Chief Minister Omar Abdullah hinted that he received assurances from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the restoration of statehood of Jammu and Kashmir.
“I have received assurances at the highest level that the commitments made to J&K particularly with regard to the governance model, will change,” Omar Abdullah said.
