The US battles the world as the best golfers on the planet face off in a series of matches this weekend that will determine geographical bragging rights for the next two years.
The Presidents Cup golf tournament is a biennial competition that pits 12 of the best golfers from the US against a similar size field of top international players from around the world, excluding Europe. (US and European players square off against each other during odd-numbered years in a similar competition called the Ryder Cup.)
The competition kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada, with five “four-ball” matches, where teams of two players each play their own balls and the lowest score per hole counts. On Friday, the Presidents Cup shifts to five “foursomes” matches, where teams of two take alternating shots on every hole. Saturday features four foursomes matches and four four-ball matches, while Sunday shifts to one-on-one battles with 12 singles matches.
Led by the top two PGA golfers, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele, the US squad took a big lead on Thursday, winning all five of the foursomes matches to snag an early 5-0 lead, but they’ll need to get to 15.5 points to win it all, and the international squad is sure to be fired up to defend their pride on Friday.
You’ve got a few different options for streaming the Presidents Cup this weekend. Read on to find out how and when to stream all of the exciting golf action this weekend.
Top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler won his first round match on Thursday with teammate Russell Henly.

The sports-oriented streaming service Fubo provides another option for watching the Presidents Cup, but it’s the most expensive of the bunch at $80 a month, although there is a free trial available to new customers. While Fubo’s speciality is soccer coverage, it’s also airing the entire Presidents Cup from start to finish.
