Hina Khan’s On-Screen Daughter Ashnoor Kaur Praises Her Battle Against Cancer: ‘Strong

Actress Hina Khan has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, and her battle against it has become inspirational to many. Firstly, she chose to talk about it openly and wear her scars proudly instead of letting them become a hindrance in her path. Secondly, despite undergoing chemotherapy, Hina chose to fulfil her work commitments, leaving everyone impressed with her resilience. Recently, her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Ashnoor Kaur couldn’t help but praise Hina’s courage.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Ashnoor, who played young Naira in YRKKH, heaped praise on her on-screen mother, Akshara (Hina), for her strong intent. She said, “I spoke to Hina and conveyed my wishes to her. She is a very strong woman, and the way she has been fighting everything that has come her way, I am sure she will get out of this very soon. She is working along with her treatment, which is incredible. I am sure she will continue showing her magic and strength to everyone.”

On June 28, Hina Khan shocked her entire fanbase when she revealed her cancer diagnosis. She took to her Instagram account and posted two picture notes mentioning, “I want to address the recent rumours and share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer.” Hina further said, “I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger. I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time.”

Ever since her diagnosis, Hina has been rigorously undergoing treatment, but she hasn’t slowed down. From celebrating birthdays to making confident public appearances, the actress is doing everything in her capabilities to normalise the battle against cancer. Recently, she walked the ramp at Times Fashion Week 2024 in Ahmedabad, leaving everyone impressed by her resilience. Hina shared a video of it on her social media account, recounting what her late father would tell her about life.

On the work front, Hina Khan made her acting debut with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. After working on it for seven years, she left it to explore other career opportunities. She has starred in reality shows and films, the latest being a Punjabi film, Shinda Shinda No Papa.
