On September 25, a missile fired by Hezbollah towards the Tel Aviv area was intercepted by David’s Sling defence system, Hebrew-language media reported. Hezbollah said the attack on central Israel targeted the Mossad headquarters near Tel Aviv with a “Qader 1” ballistic missile. Hezbollah said the attack was a response to the pager and walkie-talkie explosions and the assassinations of top commanders in the group. Israel was also carrying out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in south and east Lebanon for a third day, Lebanese official media reported. Lebanese media reports said “enemy warplanes and drones” targeted multiple locations in the Baalbek area, also reporting casualties there.
