Trinity Health Foundation will host the 16th annual V.R. Alla Community Symposium to help educate the community about the importance of making informed lifestyle choices to live a longer, healthier life.
The symposium will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Bally’s Quad Cities Casino & Hotel in Rock Island.
The keynote address will be presented by local kidney expert and retired physician Dr. V.R. Alla. This event aims to bring awareness to the importance of managing and controlling your own health care. Dr. Alla’s discussion will focus on the following:
- Current life expectancy trends in the United States.
- Top 10 major diseases and leading causes of death.
- Actionable tips for disease prevention and maintaining good health.
This event is open to the public, free of charge, thanks to the generosity of Dr. V.R. Alla and his family through their contributions to Trinity Health Foundation. Heart healthy appetizers will be served.
