Coldplay is set to return to India for a concert after 9 years. The British band will perform in Mumbai on January 18 and 19 next year. Given the fan following of Coldplay, getting a ticket for the show was not going to be easy. As the booking window opened on September 22, fans from across the country attempted to secure a pass. The rush to book a slot even caused a temporary crash of the official ticketing site BookMyShow.
Amidst all the ticket booking chaos, Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal managed to get the tickets for the concert. Munjal made a light-hearted comparison between the challenge of getting tickets and clearing the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).
Sharing his excitement in an X (formerly Twitter) post, “Didn’t clear JEE. But got the Coldplay tickets today. Feels good.”

Munjal’s post soon created a s stir, garnering a range of reactions from people online.
“Well done, he knows his priorities,” a user wrote.
Another added, “Achievement of the Year”
One of them mentioned, “Lucky hai ap hi bss hamare nasib me aise din kha” (“You’re the lucky one; days like this aren’t written in my fate.”)

Brinign in a Dhamaal movie reference, a user said, “Dad will be so so proud Adi!!!” (You can read it in Jaaved Jaaferi’s voice).
One user claimed that there was equal rivalry for obtaining a Coldplay ticket as gaining a JEE seat. “Both had same competition,” read the tweet.
Meanwhile, a user, probably after a deep sigh, wrote, “JEE clear nhi hua aur Coldplay ka ticket bhi nahi mila” (“Didn’t clear JEE, and didn’t get Coldplay tickets either”).
