After the Quad Summit, the Prime Minister will address the Summit of the Future at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23.
PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of the Quad, a strategic grouping of four countries- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden, on the sidelines of the Quad Leaders Summit in Wilmington Delaware.
“I look forward to joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida for the Quad Summit. The forum has emerged as a key group of like-minded countries to work for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region,” PM Modi said.
He added that his meeting with President Biden will allow both New Delhi and Washington to further deepen the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of the people and the global good.

PM to Address ‘Summit of the Future’
After the Quad Summit, the Prime Minister will address the Summit of the Future at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23. PM Modi is likely to table views on the road ahead for the betterment of humanity and the opportunities lying ahead for the global community to do so.
“The Summit of the Future is an opportunity for the global community to chart the road ahead for the betterment of humanity. I will share views of the one-sixth of humanity as their stakes in a peaceful and secure future are among the highest in the world,” he said.
PM Modi ‘Eagerly Waiting’ To Meet Indian Diaspora
The Prime Minister said that he is ‘eagerly waiting to engage with the Indian diaspora’ in the foreign country. The Indian diaspora will get an opportunity to meet the Prime Minister in New York during the mega community event at Long Island’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
“I am eagerly looking forward to engaging with the Indian diaspora and important American business leaders, who are the key stakeholders and provide vibrancy to the unique partnership between the largest and the oldest democracies of the world,” said PM Modi.
The local media reports claimed that over 24,000 Indian-Americans have registered to attend the community event on September 22 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, which has a seating capacity of 15,000.
The event, titled “Modi & US: Progress Together,” will be a celebration of the diversity and success of the Indian-American community, featuring cultural performances and appearances by prominent Indian-American figures, said the organisers.
