The Lebanese militant group, Hezbollah, said that it attacked an Israeli air and missile base in Birya with guided missiles on September 21. The group also claimed to bomb the positioning centre of the 631st Reconnaissance Battalion of the Golani Brigade in the Ramot Naftali barracks. Hezbollah also claimed targeting the headquarters of the Al-Sahl Battalion in the Beit Hillel barracks with a salvo of Katyusha rockets. The Iran-backed outfit has been conducting regular attacks since early October last year against Israel. Meanwhile, Israel Defence Forces said that nearly 100 rockets were launched from Lebanon at northern Israel in a span of few hours on Sept 21. The first barrage at around 2 pm toward Safed and Kiryat Shmona included some 25 rockets, Israeli military added There were no injuries in the attacks, according to reports.
