Amethi SDM Snaps at Lucknow Journalist, Asks Her to Leave Her Office: ‘Mood Kharab Ho Gaya’

A journalist has accused Amethi SDM Priti Tiwari of lashing out at her, telling her to leave the office, saying “mood kharab ho gaya [I’m in a bad mood]”. The journalist, whose mother has been visiting the SDM’s office for over two months regarding a house dispute, claims that instead of addressing the issue, the SDM rudely asked her to leave. In response, the journalist staged a unique protest outside the SDM’s office, using her microphone to inform the public about the situation and the SDM’s behaviour. A video of the incident has since gone viral online.

In the now-viral video, the journalist claims that the SDM threatened to have her jailed. She further alleges that Priti Tiwari said, “Mood kharab ho gaya [I’m in a bad mood],” when she approached her regarding a house dispute complaint.

She goes on to describe her ordeal, saying, “Priti Tiwari ji, aapne hamari zameen par kabza karwaya hai, aur aap hi us kabze ko mukt karwaengi [Priti Tiwari, you enabled the illegal occupation of our land, and now you will be the one to free it from that occupation].”

“Mai yahan partkaar ki haisiyat se nahi aai thi, mai ek pidit ladki ki hasiyat se Lucknow se daur daur ke aa rahi hun. Mujhe nyay chahiye. Aapke galat aadesh ki wajah se mere ghar par kabja kia gaya. Aapne galat kabza kar lia, prashasan ne aapko gumrah kia. Mai bata rahi hun, meri baat sunne ko tayyar nahi hai [I didn’t come here as a journalist; I came here as a victim, running back and forth from Lucknow. I want justice. Because of your wrong order, my house was taken over. You allowed the illegal occupation, and the administration has misled you. But you’re not even ready to listen to me],” she claimed.

She further alleges, “Mujhe karyalay se bahar nikala gaya, mujhe dhakka dia gaya, mere sath durvyavahar kia gaya [I was thrown out of the office, I was pushed, and I was mistreated].”

According to a report by Navbharat Times, the female journalist has accused SDM Priti Tiwari of facilitating illegal encroachment on her family’s land in Musafirkhana. She claims that Tiwari, in coordination with the Bhale Sultan Shaheed Smarak police station, carried out the encroachment based on verbal orders. Despite repeatedly submitting applications, the journalist alleges that no action has been taken to address the issue.
