India Paris 2024 Paralympics Highlights: Sumit Antil won javelin throw F64 gold with Paralympic record of 70.59m and became the first Indian man to defend his title. Kumar Nitesh clinched his maiden gold medal at the Paralympic Games after beating Great Britain’s Daniel Bethell in a thrilling men’s singles SL3 badminton final.

Nithya Sre Sumathy Sivan wins bronze in women’s singles SH6 after beating Rina Marlina of Indonesia 21-14 21-6. Suhas Yathiraj secured his second successive silver medal in men’s singles SL4 after going down 9-21, 13-21 to favourite Lucas Mazur of France. Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass signed off with maiden silver and bronze medals respectively in women’s singles SU5 category. Yogesh Kathuniya secured the Silver with a season-best throw of 42.22m in the Men’s Discus Throw-F56 Final. Archers Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar clinched bronze in the mixed team compound open after beating Italy 156-155.
