India added a bronze to its medal ally at the Paris Paralympics 2024 as para-shooter Rubina Francis sealed a third-place finish in the P2 Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event.
Francis scored 211.11 points to clinch the third and final podium spot and everything that goes with the top-3 finish.
However, the promising runs of women archers Sheetal Devi and Sarita came to a grinding halt as they were edged out to a place in the following rounds by inspired performances from their opponents.
The badminton unit started off the day with positive results, however, the final session saw the Indian contingent’s shuttlers’ challenge fizzle out.
