Zakir Khan’s Aapka Apna Zakir has received much love from fans and critics alike. Besides the host, the show also has four panelists including Rithvikk Dhanjani. In the latest episode, Rithvikk was seen indulging in a fun conversation with the guests of the show Neeti Mohan, Jubin Nautiyal and Shekhar Ravjiani. During the conversation, the television actor left everyone in splits as he recalled learning guitar to impress girls during his college years.
The conversation began with Shweta Tiwari’s (one of the panelists) remarks on music. She said, “It always feels like music is playing around me when I’m here.” Responding to her comment, another panelist Gopal Dutt said, “I hear a guitar playing in my heart when I see them),” prompting the actress to give a sarcastic reply. Shweta Tiwari replied, “That’s why it sounds so bad.”
Rithvikk Dhanjani, then, joined the conversation. He said, “Men when in their school and college, learn guitar to impress girls.” To this, Zakir responded, “Kitni clarity hai, koi sangeet se lena dena nahi hai. Saaf baat, ye chahiye. (Such clarity, there’s no connection to music here. Straightforward, that’s what’s needed.” He added, “Every guy with a guitar in college was famous. I learned guitar, tabla, mouth organ, all of it, but still, no luck with girls.”
The previous episodes of Aapka Apna Zakir saw guests like Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. Rithvikk, in the comedy show, portrays a charismatic ‘love sceptic’ character.
Rithvikk Dhanjani was previously in a relationship with Asha Negi. The couple dated for seven years. Later, they announced their split in 2020. But, the former lovebirds are still on good terms. Just a few days back, Rithvikk dropped a heartwarming birthday wish for Asha on her special day on Instagram Stories.
