PM Modi Poland Visit Day 1 Highlights: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday embarked on an unprecedented three-day visit to Poland and Ukraine.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Poland is the first visit of an Indian PM to Poland in 45 years since Morarji Desai’s Warsaw visit in 1979. The timing of this visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Poland.
Following his visit to Poland, the Prime Minister will visit Ukraine on August 23 at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelensky, the external affairs ministry said in a press briefing on Monday.
