Vice President Kamala Harris remained absent from the Democratic National Convention on August 20 when party heavyweights Barack and Michelle Obama took to the stage. While the Obamas were vouching for her at the convention, both Harris and her running mate Tim Walz were campaigning in Wisconsin’s Milwaukee. On the second day of the DNC in Chicago, Harris and Walz held a campaign rally focused on attacking Trump in Milwaukee which is part of the swing state of Wisconsin.
