While Real Madrid’s failure to claim the full three points triggered a social media chatter, a video revealing the players involved in a tactical discussion was released
Reigning LaLiga champions Real Madrid did not have a fruitful start to their title defence this season as they were held to a draw by Mallorca. Playing in an away fixture on Sunday, Real Madrid conceded a goal in the second half to bag a point against Mallorca. Brazilian international Rodrygo earned a lead for Real Madrid early in the game. But Vedat Muriqi’s header in the second half salvaged a point for the hosts.
While Real Madrid’s failure to claim the full three points triggered a social media chatter, a video revealing the players involved in a tactical discussion has now gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).
Midfielder Jude Bellingham, star striker Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo were involved in the discussion, which presumably took place at halftime with Real Madrid leading by a slender margin of one goal to nil. In the now-viral video, Bellingham can be heard asking the attacking triumvirate of Real Madrid to keep pressing the opposition’s defence.
“You three, we need to finish the attack, because the running back… is f*****g hard,” Jude Bellingham said, as claimed in the post. To this, Kylian Mbappe said, “That’s what I’m saying. We have to finish with something.” Responding to Mbappe’s comments, Bellingham said, “Yeah, even… create a yard and [shoot].”

In an off-season rife with talks about how the frontline would gel together, moments like these help showcase that the world-class professionals can and will figure out a way to triumph personally and as a team cohesively.
Ultimtely in this case though, Real Madrid failed to complete the game with their 11 players on the field. French left-back Ferland Mendy was sent off in stoppage time having committed a high challenge on Vedat Muriqi. Carlo Ancelotti decided to field the same starting line-up that defeated Atalanta to clinch the UEFA Super Cup title on Wednesday. But Los Blancos could not succeed in collecting full three points from the La Liga season opener.
