Zerodha turned 14 on Thursday, August. To mark the special day, CEO Nithin Kamath dropped a throwback video featuring his son Kiaan. The clip, which is from 2018, shows the father-son duo sitting in what looks like a living room. We can see Kiaan singing the national anthem with Nithin on guitar. The video screams adorable from miles away. Nithin took a moment to reflect on the year and called it a ‘disaster’ in terms of health. Sharing the video, Nithin wrote, “Happy Independence Day. Zerodha also turns 14 today so thank you for all the love. This is from 2018. The 2024 year has been a disaster in terms of health, I need to get back to playing for myself.” Replying to the post, his brother Nikhil Khatam dropped a red heart.

For those who don’t know, Nithin Kamath suffered a mild stroke in January this year. He shared the shocking news with a set of two pictures on X. He wrote, “Around 6 weeks ago, I had a mild stroke out of the blue. Dad passing away, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking out —any of these could be possible reasons. I’ve gone from having a big droop in the face and not being able to read or write to having a slight droop but being able to read and write more. From being absent-minded to more present-minded.”

“So, 3 to 6 months for full recovery. I wondered why a person who’s fit and takes care of himself could be affected. The doctor said you need to know when you need to shift the gears down a bit. Slightly broken, but still getting my treadmill count,” he continued.
