The YouTuber sneaked into Donald Trump’s Montana rally for “entertainment purposes” after many people noted his resemblance to businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
A YouTuber, who goes by “Dohaa the Explorer”, pretended to be Vivek Ramaswamy to gain access to Donald Trump’s rally in Montana. The idea struck his mind after several viewers commented on his videos, noting his resemblance to the Indian-American businessman who was the Republican frontrunner for the 2024 US Presidential Elections. The YouTuber even made a full-length video explaining how he planned and executed the prank.
Dohaa informed his viewers that the video is only for “entertainment purposes”. The influencer set his six-point goals: Fly to Montana, wear a Vivek Ramaswamy outfit, sneak into Trump’s rally, meet Governors and senators, make people think he is Vivek Ramaswamy, and click a selfie with Donald Trump.
Although he successfully reached the VIP area, he wasn’t allowed to stay there as volunteers mistook him for a journalist. He then interviewed Republican politician Tim Sheehy. However, a Secret Service agent soon escorted him out of the rally for lacking the press credentials required to interview politicians. Consequently, he had to leave his camera in his car.
He returned to the rally after leaving his camera in the car, and this time, many attendees mistook him for Vivek Ramaswamy, eagerly taking pictures with him. Although he checked off almost everything on his list, he missed out on taking a selfie with the Republican presidential nominee. Despite being close to the stage, he couldn’t meet Trump. In the video, he mentioned that if anyone from the Trump campaign was watching, they could reach out to him, as he would love to do a podcast with Trump.
