The Harris-Walz duo is stumping for votes across seven battleground states over five days.
Today, Vice president Kamala Harris will address the United Auto Workers in Detroit, without her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
The pair started after Harris chose Walz as a running mate in a Tuesday morning announcement. That night, they took the stage together during their first rally in Philadelphia.
On Wednesday, they set out for a campaign rally in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and then followed with another rally last night in Detroit.
Where are Harris-Walz headed next?
The Democrats are scheduled to move on to Phoenix, Arizona on Friday and Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday. The North Carolina and Georgia stops were scratched due to Tropical Storm Debby in the area.
Where are Trump and Vance?
Former President Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance has bee running in a very similar circle of campaign stops this week. He campaigned in Philadelphia on Tuesday while the Harris-Walz rally was going and also headed to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Detroit Wednesday.
Vance ran into Harris’ entourage at the same Wisconsin airport yesterday and joked with reporters. “I just wanted to check out my future plane.”
Vance has since also canceled his North Carolina visit due to Tropical Storm Debby in the area.
Trump has not stumped with Vance this week and appears to have one campaign rally scheduled for Friday afternoon in Bozeman, Montana.
Trump has said he will rally in Butler, Pennsylvania soon — where a man was killed and others injured in an assassination attempt — but has not announced when.
