The far-right in Venezuela is supported and funded by global Zionism, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro told Lebanese news outlet Al Mayadee. He added that the Zionist influence in the media and social media is behind the attempted coup in Venezuela.The left-wing president also hailed his victory in the country’s presidential election on July 28. He called it the greatest proof of what a people can do for their independence, dignity, and future.Maduro’s victory has sparked nationwide riots and violence, driven by opposition claims of electoral fraud. On August 2, the country’s election authority proclaimed him the winner with 52% of the vote and said opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez had garnered 43% of ballots. The opposition says its own detailed tally shows that Gonzalez likely received 67% of the vote.
