Four persons were killed after an Air Dynasty helicopter they were in crashed in a forest outside Nepal’s capital Kathmandu on Wednesday. The incident took place at Suryachaur in Nuwakot on the to Rasuwa, local media reports said.
According to reports, the chopper collided with a hill. Authorities dispatched a rescue team to the crash site, reports said.
Reports cited sources at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) saying the helicopter left Kathmandu at 1.54 pm and lost contact with the authorities after reaching Suryachaur, which is three minutes after takeoff.
